You do not have any assignments to do today. Instead, I have put down summer recommendations. Please enjoy your summer break. Take time away from the computer screen and get some rest. We will see you all for the 1st Day of School on August 26. Have a great summer! Summer Activities1. Read for 30 minutes every day. Tell you mom or dad about what you read and answer their questions.
2. Work on Lexia or Zearn. 3. Create a summer journal. Write in it every day and tell about your day. 4. Write a letter/email to a friend or family member who lives far away once a week. 5. Practice math skills using Khan Academy. 6. Practice addition and subtraction facts using flash cards. Play games with math facts. 7. Count change when you are buying things. 8. Find a hobby you enjoy. Do it and have fun!

Do not move onto the next level until you get all the problems correct in 90 seconds. If you do not get all problems correct, practice the ones you did wrong and try again.
5) Play memory using addition and subtraction facts flash cards. Mix cards up. Put all cards face down. Pick two cards to turn over. If they match, you keep the cards. If they do not match, you turn them face down again. Begin again and pick two more cards. Keep going until there are no more cards. You may also play with someone else. Take turns. Whoever has the most cards at the end wins.
