Reading 1) Students will reread the informational text in their home learning folders titled, "The Value of a Tree." After reading through the text, students will answer questions 1 through 4 on the next page. Writing 1) Describe the last time you ate out at a restaurant. Use your imagination, your senses (touch, taste, smell, sight, and sound) and your vocabulary to describe the restaurant as vividly as possible. Challenge yourself to write a sentence using each sense! Then draw a picture to go with your writing. Use this sensory word list to help you with your writing: Math 1) Today we start Module 5!
