Hello everyone, See you all at 1 PM today for our reading session! --Mrs. Didonna Reading 1) Students will read the next informational text in their home learning folders titled, "A Little History of a Big Seed." After reading through the text, students will read through the text a second time and annotate the text. Our annotation symbols are as follows: "star" - main idea "underline" - key words/details "?" - I do not understand this or I have a question about this "check mark" - I understand this "circle" - any new vocabulary "emojis" - draw an emoji next to parts of the text to show how you felt while reading Writing 1) Describe your dream vacation. Draw a picture to go with your writing. Remember to ask yourself questions like the ones below to add more details to your writing. Try your best to stretch your sentences out with lots of detail! Who would you on your dream vacation with? What activities would you do during your vacation? Where is your dream vacation? When would you go on this vacation? Why did you pick this as your dream vacation? How would you plan for this trip? Math 1) Students will complete Module 4 Lesson 14 Problem Sheet, Homework Sheet and Exit Ticket. Music/Art 1) Gather any coloring materials you have (crayons, colored pencils, markers, pens, paints, etc) and some white paper. 2) Click the video below to listen to Frederic Chopin's Spring Waltz all the way through one time. 3) Listen to the Spring Waltz a second time. This time, while you are listening, use your materials to color on your paper whatever you are feeling or hearing as you listen to the sounds of the music. Be as creative as you want! Your drawing can be abstract or realistic. 4) Try the same process but with a different song of your choice. Notice the differences/similarities between your art pieces depending on the music you choose. Have fun! Last but not least, make sure you are reading

Hello everyone, It was so nice to see you all again during our video session yesterday. I enjoyed hearing about everyone's Spring Break. I will see you all today at 1 PM for our math session. In a paragraph, write about the reasons why you think winter or summer is better and describe some of the activities you enjoy doing during that season. Draw a picture to go with your writing. 2) Watch the following video to learn about prepositions: 3) In your writing today from Step 2, circle all of the prepositions you can find in your writing.
