After reading through the text, students will answer questions 1 through 4. Questions 1 and 2 are to get students in the habit of finding/referencing information in the text. Students are to underline in the text where they found their answers. 2) Log into your Lexia account and work on Lexia for 15-20 minutes. Writing Prompt: Write a story about a monkey and an elephant who are best friends. Remember to make sure your story has all of the parts of story structure: beginning, middle, end, characters, setting, problem and solution. When you are finished with your writing, draw an illustration to go with your story. Math 1) Students will complete Module 4 Lesson 3 Problem Sheet, Homework Sheet and Exit Ticket. Our annotation symbols are as follows: "star" - main idea "underline" - key words/details "?" - I do not understand this or I have a question about this "check mark" - I understand this "circle" - any new vocabulary "emojis" - draw an emoji next to parts of the text to show how you felt while reading 2) Log into your Lexia account and work on Lexia for 15-20 minutes. Writing Write a paragraph on the following prompt: What are your favorite things to play when you are outside and what are your favorite things to play when you are inside? Explain why. When you are finished with your writing, draw an illustration to go with your response. Math 1) Students will complete Module 4 Lesson 2 Core Addition Fluency Review. Please use this day to catch up on any unfinished work from the week and to email your assignments in. Instead of doing our typical Spelling Test every Friday, I will be posting additional Reading work. On Fridays we also do STREAM so every Friday I will post a fun STREAM/Art project for you to try at home.
